Welcome to My Personal Fitness Challenge Day 24

Welcome to My Personal Fitness Challenge Day 24

Wow, today was a challenging day.  It started by having a conversation with hubby about this coming long weekend, which is also his birthday weekend.  He wants him and I to go way on our motorcycles together for an overnighter somewhere.  Might be the last chance for good weather before the bikes go away.  I told him my priority is my workouts at Team Fitness on Saturday Morning and Monday evening.  Can't miss it. Going away would be really good for our relationship, but me losing the weight and getting in shape is going to be good for our relationship too.

Next challenge, today was goodie day at work, it happens every second Wednesday.  I have decided that I will not avoid the social opportunity.  The way it works is there is 12 or 14 people in the group and two people each time bring the food, one sweet the other savory.  Today was homemade carrot cake drenched in cream cheese dressing, there was also this huge multi layer dip of feta cheese and cream cheese and lots of other yummy stuff along with crackers and hummus.  I had my black coffee and watched them enjoy it.  I didn't mind actually.  When everyone was done eating we had a great conversation about colonics.  We discussed the pro's the cons the differences between that and colonoscopy and colonographys.  I think a bunch of gals maybe googling the happy colon tonight!

Lunch time I had my turkey chilli, and I was hungry after sitting through goodie day with nothing but the smell reaching me.  I brought my lunch and my yoga gear because Wednesday's are yoga day at the OC and I decided to join.  Turns out they switched it to Tuesday for this week only.  I am on the email list now so I will know what's going on.  After lunch I got an invited to go out for lunch tomorrow which I turned down.  I cant do that.

My last challenge of the day was allowing my son to take me for a drive in my truck.  It was a little unnerving but he actually did pretty good.
