Welcome to My Personal Fitness Challenge Day 25
Felt like a pretty successful day today. It was so busy, but I am getting smart! I brought my home made Turkey Chilli with me and managed to eat it in between meetings. I really like it! It really helps to avoid feeling so hungry you could die!
I really looked forward to my workout this evening, and Wesley did not disappoint. I actually felt "worked out" when we were done. I am really excited about the sessions getting more challenging. Bring it on! I am not happy with my rate of weight loss. I am really praying that come Saturday morning I see a bit of a drop. It has been the same all week! I need to raise the bar, I am going to increase my level of exercise going forward even if I don't feel like it.
I got home tonight and my family had pasta with this very yummy and low fat tomato and red pepper sauce. I looked at it and so wanted to have some. I was starving after my workout, and I have not had it in so long! I went to the fridge to get my veggies and white protein out from behind the lemon marange pie my Dad made. I told you he loves to cook. I got out my 4 oz of chicken and thawed it out. I pulled out the spring mix and it didn't look good. I had to to the grocery store. On my way out the door my hubby and I had words. It really ticked me off. I got to the store and went around gathering my salad, avocado, cherry tomatoes and bananas.
I made my way to the check out. You know how you have to stand there while your waiting for your turn next to all the chocolate bars. I am not a chocolate bar person normally but I was ticked off. In about 10 seconds I had this internal self talk. "Screw it, I should just buy a few and eat them, what am I doing this for? Your doing it for you, not for him". I bought my fresh produce and went home to make my salad and eat my chicken. I enjoyed it! I am doing this for me!!!
