Welcome to My Personal Fitness Challenge Day 29
Well once again an interesting, challenging and successful day when it comes to my Fitness Challenge. Going through my insomnia faze again, woke up at 4 am for the 3rd day in a row. Went downstairs and laid on the couch. I watched 2 or 3 shows on TV before falling asleep. I woke up at 8:30 am had a shower and my new breakfast, one boiled egg and an apple. Loved tasting the yolk for the first time in over a month but it really was not satisfying. I was still quite hungry after that. I had my almonds before my group workout at Team Fitness and my apple right after. It worked I guess.
The workout was a good one. I think it is great how we do different circuits each time. I find that I am not sore so much anymore but my muscles know that they have had a workout. Most difficult station was the crab walk, I can feel it now in my neck and shoulders. I like this crew, so much fun working together towards our common goal.
So I am so thrilled to have made it through Thanksgiving. For the last 4 weeks my pattern has been to have a weight loss on Saturday only to gain a pound or two back come Sunday followed by a steady pattern of no change until the following Friday or Saturday when I see another drop. As this seems to be successful so far with a 13.5 lb drop over the last four weeks I have accepted this pattern and although I do not promise not to weigh myself every single day I do promise to not worry about what I see knowing that the little metal box will be kind to me come Saturday. Good news though, while weighing in this morning I was thrilled to find my weight the same as Saturday morning even considering my "High" day Sunday and it was also Thanksgiving. I do have a lot to be thankful for.
So today was my husband's birthday. We went for a ride on his motorcycle together. Getting on and off the bike was actually easier than it had been the last time. Can't wait to see what it feels like when I get a few more pounds off! We rode up Cypress and took some photos followed by a ride to Starbucks in Horseshoe Bay. I was excited to try a No Fat No Dairy Soy Pumpkin Spiced Latte. They could do all that but turns out the syrup they use has sugar in it. The only choices are full sweet or half sweet but I could not have a no sweet so it was dark roast black for me!
After the ride we did the family tradition of going to Boston Pizza. The food they ordered looked and smelled fantastic, but even more good news. Boston Pizza has ONE dish that seemed to be a perfect fit to my food plan. I had baked salmon with only lemon on it complete with grilled veggies and garden salad (dressing on the side) It was a total fit!
On to the next birthday tradition, Dairy queen ice cream birthday cake. I cut it up and served it to my hubby, two boys and my Dad. It seemed that they really enjoyed it! I on the other hand did not even lick my fingers. I just sat there with them and enjoyed my success all the while thinking. "Don't let what you want now stop you from getting what your really want later!"
